The new animated series called “Animorphis Movie” is in the works from Scholastic and Picturestart. It follows five teenage boys, named Jake, Marco, Cassius, Cassie, and Tobias, who have the power to morph into almost any animal, including a dog, a cat, a bear, and a human. When an alien race tries to invade Earth, the teens learn that they have to morph their mothers into specific animals to fight back. Now, apparently unannounced, Scholastic is teaming up with Erik Fieg’s PictureStart to turn the Animorphs stories into a feature film.
The Animorphs movie follows a group of alien teens who were abducted and taken to a planet called Themisia. The film centers around three teens who learn that they have been chosen by an alien race called the Animorphs as their own species. With their new-found powers they try to figure out how to go home and fight back against their captors. The Animorphs movie features an interesting plot that is quite unique in nature.
The books are the first of a six-book series. “The Animorphs” was written by Neil Gaiman, who also wrote “American Gods.” According to the books, each of the five teens has the ability to transform into an animal, but only at certain times. The children will usually be sent out on adventures to fight the aliens, and they will meet all sorts of different people and creatures along the way.
Gaiman wrote the series while he was a college student. According to one interview,he did not plan on writing the books as an actual series, but rather just an entertaining tale. The books have become so popular, though, that there are now animated series. “Animus,” which was already a book series, was then added to the animated series as a bonus. The animation will show the children transforming into animals while fighting off the invading alien forces.
The original books are a mixture of fantasy and science fiction. They tell of the rise of the warlord aliens called the Visser, who invade Earth and take over. While battling his enemy, the teens also must contend with each other for control of the planet, which they call “Pod.”
The main character of “Animus,” Jake, is a dog who is very mischievous. His friends also include Marco,a cat,and Cassie,a gorilla. They learn to transform into several animals while saving the planet and defeating the aliens.
The book series began to take off after the release of the second book. It received much critical acclaim, which resulted in a huge amount of attention. Since the books have a high popularity rating, Scholastic decided to turn them into an animated film.
The movie will be produced by DreamWorks Animation, the company that produces “How to Train Your Dragon” and Despicable Me.” The story is still being kept under wraps, but it is said that the cast will include many celebrities. Who will appear in the movie is not yet known? According to the original books, the children will also be able to play the role of the alien invaders and will have the chance to play with some of the special effects that are featured in the show.
As of this time,no casting has been finalized,but fans can expect to see this movie released sometime in the future. The original series is being released every three months,but the third is already scheduled to be released in October. 2020.
Fans of the original series will enjoy the film. The plot is like the books, and the original voice cast is still involved. It was recently announced that the cast will be including some of the famous voice talent that has been playing the characters of Marco, Cassie, and Jake.
